Being a director can be tough.  You have a vision for how you see your project coming to life, but that doesn’t always come to fruition.  Producers, studios, and any number of influences can alter the picture in a million little ways.  Occasionally, a director has a chance to come back and show audiences how they would have done it differently if they had another chance.  The Richard Donner Cut of Superman II is just one example of a director getting a redo.
